I am very proud to see you here. I am glad that you decided to take ownership for the development of SPUEF SQUAD. Use the process of applying to the LCP position as a possibility to reflect on your experience, your future, and your values. I believe in you and wish you luck and courage in this way.

I know that it can be not easy to decide to apply for LCP. I believe that each of you is enough to lead the Local Committee. This action can help to make your dream come true.

RESPONSIBILITIES


EB team management (election, planning, tracking, coaching, transition management);

LC management (people, operations, finance, legality, innovations);

Full Members management (Compendium adopting and fulfillment tracking);

P-team management;

Representation of the LC on NA, city, government and international level (participation in conferences, reporting, membership criteria management, communication with MC, communication with government, LC partners);

IR management;

BoA management (forming and working process management);

Extra roles, which LCP defines according to their strategy.

Note of Intent

Please, write a Statement of Intent, 1 Word page in length, stating your intention to apply to the LCP position for SPUEF SQUAD

REQUIREMENTS

All questions must be answered

Application package must contain :

  • Questionnaire
  • CV (with your AIESEC and external experience)
  • Test results and conclusions (MBTI, high5test)
  • Endorsement from someone your lead
  • Endorsement from who led you
  • Endorsement from your close person (parents, best friend...)
  • Endorsement from external company/organization/customer you’ve been working with
  • Motivation video (tell about future of LC, your WHY, why you are a perfect candidate (~3 minutes))

Application must be in English.


Each file has to be in PDF format named as following: Name_Last name_part of application package.

The whole application has to be sent in one ZIP file named as Name_Last name.

YOU
  1. Present yourself. Who are you? What does it mean to be you? What are your values and main life milestones that shaped you so far? What is your personal vision?
  2. Why did you decide to apply? Why are you a perfect candidate to LCP posiition?
  3. What are your 5 the most important things in life? How many time do you give to it? How will you manage LCP term an this things?
  4. What are your main fears of applying on LCP position? How will you overcome it?
  5. What are your strengths and weaknesses? How your strengths will help you during your term? How weaknesses will stop?
  6. What are your 5 main leadership values? Give examples of situations when you acted according to them.
  7. Describe your work style. Ask 5-7 people with whom you worked. Write Start-Stop-Continue (you can paste answers of other people, the feedback should be as extend as possible) and make conclusions.
  8. Make a map of your failures with approximate dates when it happened. Near every failure write what did it teach you.
  9. What questions do you most often ask yourself?
AIESEC & SPUEF
  1. What is the cause why AIESEC exist? What for the world need AIESEC?
  2. What mission of organization means for you personally? What do you do to achieve it?
  3. What SPUEF means for you? What`s differ of SPUEF from another LCs? (tip: look deeper into the difference of our LC)
  4. What is the value of membership experience in AIESEC? Why person should choose AIESEC, but not the other youth organization? Compare AIESEC and 2 other youth leadership organizations
  5. What does it mean to you to be an LCP of LC SPUEF SQUAD?
TEAM

1. How are you going to select your team? What are the criterias for being part of it?

2. How are you going to work with P-team?

3. What determines the success of the EB team? What determines the success of the LC?

4. What kind of leadership does SPUEF need in 24.25? How would you describe your leadership style?

5. Personal learnings that you can bring to SPUEF in 24.25

6. How will you work on your LCP brand at LC, NA, city and international level?

ANALYSIS

1. Make an analysis of the last 3 terms (20|21, 21|22, 22|23) in finance, people and operations. Make conclusions which will be useful for the next term.

2. Make SWOT analysis of 23.24 term. Make conclusions which will be useful for the next term.

3. Perform a 'Stakeholders Map' analysis of our Local Committee. How will you interact with each group of stakeholders in your term?

4. Which of the five levels of culture is the LC at now? How do we get to the next level?

5. Please, analyze the financial context of our LC for the last peak, insert graphs, make conclusions. What can you as an LCP do for the LC to achieve MoCR 8 in the next term?

6. What will be your actions in the first 90 days on the LCP position?



Strategy
  1. What is your vision as an LCP for the next term?
  2. What the behaviors does SPUEF have now? How do they differ from what you want to see? How do you want to change them?
  3. Present your EB and LC structure
  4. Make an approximate LC timeline till 1st of August
  5. Make an approximate budget till 1st of August
  6. Present LC strategy for the next term
  7. Make an LCP strategy with LCP focuses and tactics till 1st of August.
  8. How will you work on SPUEF brand at NA, city and international level?

Recommendations

  • Talk to the LC. Don't hesitate to approach members, TLs, and managers to find out about their experience. Find inspiration in their sharings
  • Approach alumni of our and other LCs, other entites to learn more about the position and challenge your motivation. Remember, application is a learning moment in itself, don't waste it!
  • Check compendium, BlueBook, previous LCPs strategies
  • Talk with EPs, stakeholders, members, IR and LC2LC partners
  • Be mindful of the timeline, don't leave uploading files to the last moment
  • Show your true self!
